The Risk of Being Overweight and Ways to Deal With It Now

Being overweight means you are taking unnecessary risks to your health. If you cold calculate it, the risk outweighs the pleasure. But it is so hard to give up on things that give you so much joy.
What are you facing?

Anxiety
Depression
Having high blood pressure
Coronary heart disease
Type 2 diabetes development
Stroke
Gallbladder disease
Osteoarthritis
Breathing problems
Difficulty sleeping
Cancers of the breast and colon
You may have already had some of those issues. And that makes it even more difficult to get started because it creates extra pressure on you. Most people find eating to be soothing and comforting, and the dieting makes you feel like you need exactly that. So what is the solution?
1) Start eating more often. Although it sounds crazy eating more often makes you feel less hungry. And less hungry you are the better are the odds of your diet to succeed. Just eat every three hours but try to eat less.
2) Force yourself to take up at least one activity a day. Walking, running, cycling or skipping rope. Everyone can afford twenty minutes a day for something like that.
3) Take in lots of fluids. But be careful, that means only water and tea. When I say tea I mean green tea, peppermint, rose or anise. At least five glasses a day. That helps dissolving the fat cells, and makes you feel full.
4) Stop adding sugar to your food and beverages. Add fructose or honey. It tastes equally well, but it is by far healthier than your ordinary sugar.
5) Plan your diet. Consult a professional if necessary. If you think you can't stick to the diet plan, don't use that diet. Find something suitable for you. When you decide what to do, don't give it up. That is the most important thing and the most common cause of people getting their weight back.
When you count your calories, make sure you count every single calorie you take in. It will not be good for your diet if you eat two boxes of diet cookies. Although they are specially created for losing weight, they still have certain amount of calories which get stuck with you if you aren't careful.
That brings us to another subject, and that is the type of food you eat. Two things that are banned in every diet plan you can find are sweets and fat. If it will make you feel better, you can cheat and eat a little of your favorite cake once every week, but don't overdo it or all of your efforts will be in vain.
To make long story short, you need to find a diet that fits you and STICK to it or you will be in danger of ruining your health in the long run, although it feels just fine now. Do something for yourself now and you feel and look better in the time to come. Consider it an investment.
